We had a delightful surprise last night.....some good friend stopped by bearing gifts. Included were not only some adorable outfits for Kaitlin but there was also a basketful of yummy good, enough to prepare at least 2-3 dinners. So, we utilized this little treat and took part in the cheese enchiladas they graced us with.
My dad (Papa Duck) and his wife (Grand Jan) are here visiting from NC, so Lisa come over with the boys and we all chowed down. My brother was still working at his blood pressure booth at the fair (yes....still eating the good fair food) so we did our part in eating his portion!! :-)
After filling our bellies, the kids all went upstairs to Kellyn's room to play in her little house and amuse us with their "musical skills". Such fabulous dinner music, let me say.

Then Papa Duck them all outside so they could enjoy thier popsicles (nothing like sugar before bed). OBVIOUSLY, Kellyn had the grape popsicle! What gave it away??
Needless to say, after that.....it was bathtime. When asked if the kids would all like to jump in the bath together.......you can imagine the response! It was so fun and everyone but sweet little Merrick got all cleaned up. Kaitlin bypassed the big tub and entertained Merrick in her little tub.
Luckily, all the playing overtook the popsicle sugar and they were all sacked out w/in 5 minutes after the boys left.
Play hard, Sleep hard......that's our motto! :-)
