Happy 1st Birthday Merrick!!!

One year ago today.........a little miracle was born. My nephew, Mr. Merrick had a tough start at things, but lots of love, prayers and modern medicine helped this little man fight his uphill battle to become the most awesome little 1 year old that he is today. He's the greatest nephew and cousin and we give thanks everyday for the miracle worked through this little man.

Now he's meeting the world head on.........serious about this whole "kid" thing. He and his big brothers (Tryg and Matt) and cousins Kellyn and Kaitlin gravel over toys, chat back and forth and just make each other laugh hysterically. Chris, Lisa, Jim and I wouldn't know what to do if we weren't surrounded by 5 amazingly energetic balls of fun. Granted, we would get in a lot more adult conversation but who needs that? :-)
