Little Fishies

Apparently, Jim and I have "amphibian" in our bloodline and passed it on to our girls.

We started Kellyn in swim lessons this week. She's 1 of 3 kids in the class (good friends Charlie and Max are the others) and she's just having a blast!

Teacher Jenny is absolutely AMAZING and has patience far beyond my capabilities. While all of us parents are heading in the other direction when our kids start crying or throwing fits, Teacher Jenny just takes their hands and off in the pool they go!


They actually start out in the hot tub since it's obviously much warmer and easier to keep the attention of 3 - 2 year olds for 20 minutes. After 2 classes, Kellyn has already learned to kick her legs like a mad woman and climb out of the pool herself. She's made her mommy and daddy VERY proud!







Kaitlin joined in the fun after class was over and we couldn't get that girl out of the water....she just floated and LOVED it! Even she was kicking her legs like big sister.





Looks like we're going to have to move up from the dog pool to a real pool one of these days!! :-)

After all that pool fun, we all grubbed on haystacks and ice cream sandwiches......can't beat that for a Wednesday!!!
