A Daddy's Love.....

.....has no definition.

For Jim, it started with a moment like this :

And ever since, he's been puddy.......puddy in the hands of 2 little toe headed angels!

He met his first Angel on his very own birthday back in 2005. It was love at first sight.

And their bond grew bigger

And bigger..........

.....until it was soaring high above the clouds.

And just when he thought his heart was full of love......he met his second Angel and his heart doubled in size.

And tender moments were shared with just the 2 of them

Another leading lady was added to his life

Like 2 peas in a pod......they had found each other!

Like the old saying goes.....a man is only as strong as the woman at his side. Well Jim, you just reached super-human status!!

And as though being the best Daddy to 2 little girls wasn't enough? You had to add in these to the mix!

Thank you Jim, for teaching your 3 angels (ok....i may have horns and pitch fork but still) and your 2 mutts how to live, love and play with your entire heart and soul. We love you SO MUCH!!

Now.......for the other very important Daddy's in our lives:

  • MY Grandaddy: He's a man that can bring a smile to my face just thinking about him. He's spunky, sweet and just totally hilarious. He drinks milk with every meal and is always willing to take me out for an ice cream cone. Who can resist that cuteness?

  • Papa Duck (My Daddy): He supported me all the way down my career path and taught me through tough love, that I was strong and independent yet, he was always there to pick me up if I stumbled (which I did....many times). And w/out him....I wouldn't have a golf swing at all. THANK YOU DAD!!

  • Grandpa (Jim's Dad): This man can always make me laugh out load. He's got a heart of gold and would give you the shirt of his back in the freezing rain. Even though he probably doesn't want anyone to know this.....he's just a big marshmallow of super silly love. But I know when it came to raising Jim, he was tough when he needed to be, but those kids always knew their Dad loved them. That's talent and you're a wonderful blessing in mine and our daughters lives. They just LOOOOVE their Grandpa!!

  • Papa Floyd (My Stepdad): We've always said there's only one Floyd in this world.......and that's SOOO true. Guess when God gets it right the first time, why make anymore? I think of how much Floyd has taught me about the "game of life" and it's just freaky. With his little tidbits of advice (most of them are on target mind you) and his living through example.....he's a great addition to anyones life. One thing is for sure, he's taught me that the biggest key to integrity and good health is hard work and I'm taking that lesson and running with it! We love you so much Floyd and we can't imagine life w/out you.

And last but not least.......

  • My brother Chris: All this talk about daddy/daughter relationship and finally here's 1 guy that has no idea what we're talking about. He has the absolute pleasure of experiencing something else totally amazing...a father/son relationship.....X 3!!! It has been so incredible witnessing the boy I once knew as my brother grow up and become a phenomenal dad. He inspires me to be a better mother and I'm so proud of him in every aspect of his life. Thank you so much for the examples you set in the art of parenthood.......you're truly gifted in that area!
