Not all of camp was fun and games......we actually were lucky to get some training time in too. However, a lot of the time we took turn "manning the children" so the other one could train. Most of the time Kaitlin slept (it was so hot) and Kellyn had fun watching her mommy and daddy wear funny outfits and do funny things.

Below is one of my favorite pictures. It's Sensei Jason Perry (Little Sensei Perry) facing off with one skillful component. Jason has been missed at many camps do to his deep commitment to the Marine Corps (and his growing family of 3 children with another on the way) so this was SUCH a special treat to see him this year.
While Jim was taking his turn training, I entertained Kellyn at the never stopping water fountain. Seemed like such a waste of water but I tried to stop it and it wouldn't. However, it was a much needed cool down for such hot temps. Notice those red cheaks. Poor thing!
