Lake Valley Reservoir

Friday evening, we met my Bro, Lisa and boys up in the mountains. They were camping overnight but we just went up for the evening to have some camp style dinner and roast marshmallows.


The first thing on our agenda when we got there was some fun times at the lake


Merrick swimming in his "birthday suit". All that sand and rocks in all the wrong places didn't seem to phase him 1 bit.....he was having a BLAST!

The Clan as we started to head back to camp.











After all the water fun, it time to get down and dirty (literally) at the campsite. I had to let my obsession with clean hands just take a rest because it was HELPLESS! By the end of the night, the girls were eating food off the ground.......It was just inevitable. Oh well, they're immune system will be that much more solid, right?? :-)


If it wasn't for the kid backpacks, we would have never been able to wrangle all the cuzn's together (or get anything done).

On her own, Kellyn just climbed this rock and started working on her "kicks". Like father, like daughter!!! Is that good form or what?










The night ended with 2 VERY tired kids, 2 VERY tired pups, and 2 VERY tired parents.....so we headed back down the hill for a warm shower and clean sheets.
