That's what I get for asking -

So me and the girls are in Ohio visiting my Mom (Grammy), Papa Floyd, and MY Grandparents for the weekend.

Tonight during bathtime........My mom and I were sitting there watching the girls be super crazy silly when Kellyn stood up and said "Mommy....you are a silly Moose".

Then I said to her: "Kellyn, you know that a Moose is a big, fat, hairy creature right? You still think Mommy is a Moose?"

And she responded............"Yep"!

Well, I learned my lesson with that one! :-)

Kait + Xena = 1 Stamped Puppy

This is what happens when you leave a 2 year old with a Dora stamp alone with sweet Xena.

We were joined for dinner Friday night by my Bro and his crew, along with Tait and Tatyana and Little Odin.

With much begging - we finally caved in a let the kids have a movie. Here they are all lined up watching "Antz". Even little Mace is in the picture all snug asleep on the floor.

Sigh of Relief

I'm telling you what............dumping that "catch up post" the other day sure did feel good. I feel as though I've been exorcised of my "blog" daemons. Now back to life! :-)

So, while eating dinner with the girls tonight I said to Kellyn......."Do you think Mommy is old?". Granted, I was fully prepared for the worst. Her response: "Your face isn't".

I'm not quite sure what to think about that!

Prettiest Flower Girls EVER

Kell and Kait were the flower girls in Miss Ashley's Wedding on Saturday and let me just say...........they took my breath away. Granted, so did the bride - she was BEAUTIFUL!

I was so proud of my girls carrying out their big responsibility, they were just awesome! We have very limited pictures at the actual wedding (b/c they didn't want flashes to interfere with photographers flash) but here's a few to give you a taste of what I'm talking about.




Best part of the evening was when we first got there, we walked down to the wedding site so Jim and I could secure seats close to the where the girls would be standing in case they needed us. On our way back up the hill to where the bridal party was waiting, Kellyn grabbed Jim's hand, looked up at him and said "Daddy........you are my prince".

Tears came to my eyes with the purity and honesty in her sweet voice. Never thought love could get this big!

Playing Catch Up - SORRY!

Either way you look at it...........it's PAINFULLY obvious that I've completely neglected my blog over the past few months. There's so many things I've been wanting to blog on, but I would just clench up at the thought of everything I've missed and not caught up on. So.....in order to redeem myself and free these shackles of guilt I have, I'm going to take the short cut and "preview" the items missed over the past few months including links to the bulk photos on my smugmug account. I know...........easy way out........but at this point...........this is the only option left!
